What changes?

The connection replaces the statement file; the way transactions are processed stays the same.

Transactions arrive by themselves
The transactions of a connected account are fetched from the bank’s transaction service at regular intervals. There is no statement to download and no file to upload.
The same matching
Every transaction goes through the same rules as an uploaded statement: the same transaction is never processed twice, a certain collection is written to the ledger, an uncertain one goes to the approval queue.
Statement upload as a fallback
For accounts without a connection yet, or waiting for the bank’s approval, you can always keep uploading statements.
You hear about a problem
If transactions cannot be fetched several times in a row, the managers who look after the bank accounts are notified in the panel and by email.

We do the setup

Choose your bank in the panel and leave a setup request. Our setup team calls you, sends you the forms and follows your application with the bank.

  1. Hand the forms to your branch

    You sign the bank’s application forms and hand them to your branch. Our setup team sends you the forms and the head office unit to name at the branch.

  2. The branch forwards them to head office

    The branch sends your application to the relevant unit at the bank’s head office. Banks you apply to at a branch usually approve in about a week.

  3. We connect

    Once the bank approves, our team enters the connection details and tests the connection. From then on, transactions arrive by themselves.

For banks that open the service in internet banking, you turn it on in your corporate internet banking the same day, and you can enter the connection details in the panel yourself.

Every bank is connected on setup request. Times are the bank’s usual approval times and may vary from bank to bank.

Questions about bank integration

Are our connection details safe?

The connection details the bank gives you are stored encrypted and never shown on any screen once entered. MeskenPlus only reads the account transactions through this connection; it makes no payments.

Can we keep uploading statements?

Yes. For accounts without a connection, or waiting for the bank’s approval, statement upload works as it always has. The same transaction is never processed twice, even if it comes both from a statement and from the bank.

How long does the setup take?

Banks you apply to at a branch usually approve in about a week; banks that open the service in internet banking, the same day. The bank’s approval sets the pace, and our setup team follows the application for you.

What do we need to do?

Choose your bank for your bank account in the panel and leave a setup request. Our setup team calls you and sends you the forms and the unit to name at the branch.

Does the bank charge for the service?

The terms of the transaction service, and any fee, are set by your bank; your branch can tell you the details.
